Moon Shine is the rooftop bar of the Elyton Hotel, 16 floors above the street in the Empire Building, which the hotel says was built in 1909 as a symbol of Birmingham's golden era as an industrial center. Bham Now's rooftop guides name it the most recommended rooftop downtown for its views of Railroad Park, Red Mountain and the skyline. The hotel runs it as an indoor-outdoor lounge for guests 21 and over.
