BellyUp! Ambassadors
You do not have to be a full-time creator to start building something real.
You may have a regular job, classes, children, clients, or one free Saturday a month. If you notice Birmingham places and enjoy telling people about them, that work can have a longer life than one post in a feed.
BellyUp! Ambassadors is the working program we are building around that idea.
Start with work you already made
Your first contribution does not need to be a new assignment. It can be a restaurant post from last year, meal photos in Google Photos, a short video, or a story you never published.
Send us the original material and tell us what made the experience worth remembering. BellyUp! can check the current venue details, shape the useful parts into a credited Rabbit Hole story, and connect it to your creator profile, the venue, and the neighborhood.

How a local creator can grow with BellyUp!
- Get listed. A permanent creator profile gives your Birmingham work one place to collect and grow.
- Get connected. Your coverage can connect to venues, neighborhoods, guides, and related Rabbit Hole stories.
- Build together. Strong collaborations can lead to planned features, creator conversations, and local assignments.
- Earn larger opportunities. Creators who fit the work and follow through can be considered for the paid side of the Ambassador program as the program develops.
Follower count is not the qualification
Useful local work matters. So do accuracy, honest disclosure, respect for the people being covered, and the ability to finish what you agree to do.
A part-time creator with strong Birmingham knowledge may be a better fit than a large channel that only passes through town.
The better future is the point
The goal is not to post a pay table before the work exists. The goal is to help good local creators build work that becomes more useful, more connected, and more capable of supporting them over time.
Paid assignments and other earning opportunities are on the horizon for creators who qualify. BellyUp! began this work in Jacksonville and is learning what creates real value for the creator, the restaurant, and the person deciding where to go. Birmingham now has the same program.
No income is promised, and nobody becomes an Ambassador merely because BellyUp! lists their profile. The opportunity begins when the work and the relationship prove they belong together.
