Homewood Gourmet
Homewood Gourmet opened in 1997 under Chef Franklin Biggs, and Chris and Laura Zapalowski, who both worked at Hot and Hot Fish Club, bought it from him in May 2010. The Homewood Star's September 2025 profile says it moved in 2023 to a 1,500 square foot space and cooks from scratch with local ingredients and homemade sides. The menu lists shrimp remoulade, chicken pesto rollups, roast beef with debris gravy, gumbo, deviled eggs, black-eyed pea salad and pimento cheese.
