Pogo Cocktail Bar
Pogo opened on 22 November 2024 as the downstairs sibling of Armour House, the restaurant Rollins Montgomery and Chris Reebals run upstairs in the Armour & Co. building on 1st Avenue North. Bham Now reported that Armour & Company meatpacking once occupied the space, and that the team found a gently used pogo stick while clearing the old basement ... that stick became the bar's name and its door handle. The door itself is drawn as a running-brick wall with the pogo stick mounted to it. The room runs live jazz on weekend nights.
