Bottega
Bottega is Frank Stitt's Italian room on Highland Avenue, with flavors the venue says are inspired by the wine bars and trattorias of Italy from Venice to Palermo. The formal dining room first welcomed guests in 1988 in a historic Beaux-Arts building, and the Café opened in the adjoining space two years later; the Café takes no reservations. At the inaugural MICHELIN Guide American South in November 2025, Pardis Stitt, co-owner of Bottega, received the MICHELIN Outstanding Service Award, one of only a few individual honors presented across the region. In January 2026 the James Beard Foundation named Bottega a semifinalist for Outstanding Hospitality.
