David Carrigan opened Carrigan's Public House on Morris Avenue in 2013 and closed that room on 6 September 2025 after 12 years. On 28 October 2025 the restaurant reopened inside The William, a redevelopment of a historic furniture and department store building on 3rd Avenue North led by his firm Clovenstone Real Estate Development. The new room moved from pub-style finger food to table service while keeping several of the old favorites. The front door is not on the street ... it is in the alley.

The front door is in the alley between 2nd and 3rd Avenues North. Walk into the alley from 19th Street North across from McWane Science Center, or from 20th Street North across from Trattoria Zaza.
